Anna Silk is a Fredericton native, the daughter Peter Silk, who was an academic. Her mother, Ilkay Silk, had a diverse range of talents, including being able to act, direct, produce, write plays as well as teach and serve as Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was the child of a British father and an Turkish-born mother from England. As a child, she was featured in a variety of commercials. In November 1999, Anna made the move to Toronto to advance her acting career, eventually moving to Los Angeles, California, within the next decade. Seth Cooperman, whom she met at a Los Angeles actors' workshop earlier in 2007, was her husband in the year 2009. Anna had just recently converted to Judaism and the couple married in Fredericton. Bo and Lauren's love story (played Zoie Palmer by Bo) is featured on CNN's all-time favorite TV couple list. They also were named in the 2013 edition of E! as the top TV couple of 2013.
