Emily Bett Rickards (born July 24, 1992) is an actress from Canada. She has portrayed Felicity in The CW Television Series Arrow. Rickards was born and raised in British Columbia. To begin her professional career, she began performing in musical theater and dance, in the hopes of later introducing professional acting. Her career path began early after she completed high school, and then attended the Vancouver Film School. There she was enrolled in the Acting Essentials Course. After the course was completed and attending an open call audition and was able to get her an agent. She was a student at her school, the Alida Vocal Studio in Vancouver. The chemistry she shared with Stephen Amell, positive feedback from the fans, and her sarcastic remarks led to an initial signing for a single episode Guest Star.
