Morgan Fairchild was born Patsy Anne McClenny, February 3 50, 1950. She is an American actor. She rose to prominence in the 70s, as well as the beginning of the 80s with the roles she played in numerous television shows, where she was seen as an attractive actress. Fairchild began her acting career in 1973-77 during the run of CBS' Search for Tomorrow daytime soap as Jennifer Pace. In her first role as the actress playing Jenna Wade, she made her first appearance on the CBS daytime soap opera Dallas in 1978. Later she landed a leading role in her role in the NBC drama Flamingo Road (1980), which won her a Golden Globe Award as Best Actress in a Television Series - for that show. She co-starred with ABC in the short-lived soap Paper Dolls from 1984. In addition, she was on the show as Jordan Roberts in Falcon Crest from 1985 to 1986. Fairchild has also been seen in theater, and playing guest roles on TV shows such as Murphy Brown and Roseanne Cybill. She was even considered for the Primetime Emmy Award in 1985 for her part in this series. Fairchild is also an SAG-AFTRA board membership. Born in Louisville Kentucky to a hotel manager as well as a housekeeper, Lawson loved acting since an early age. In the following eight years, Lawson began to perform in local theaters.
